Minister Kenney issues statement marking the celebration of Christmas by Orthodox Christians and Eastern Catholics

Ottawa, January 6, 2012 – The Honourable Jason Kenney, Minister of Citizenship, Immigration and Multiculturalism, issued
the following statement to mark the celebration of Christmas by Christians observing the Julian calendar:

“I would like to take this opportunity to extend my warmest wishes to those Christians of the Eastern Orthodox, Oriental Orthodox and Eastern
Catholic Churches who are celebrating Christmas this week.
